Laura has always considered Camp Susque her home away from home. She was a camper for six years before returning to work as the Office Assistant for three summers, as well as helping with several retreats. After working as a special education teacher for one year, where she enjoyed working with her students, the opportunity to become the Office Manager became available, and she felt that this was where the Lord wanted her to be. She loves the Susque community, working together as a team, and building relationships with fellow staff members.

As Office Manager, Laura answers the phone, responds to emails, maintains records, handles payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and helps keep the office organized and running smoothly. She also manages the camp registration and donor database and enjoys helping fellow staff members in whatever ways she can. Laura enjoys interacting with the many people who call or come to camp and being able to help them in any way she can. She loves getting to hear about the ways God is working in the lives of campers, families, and staff.

Laura has always felt a calling to serve others in some capacity. She is patient and detail-oriented and is always willing to listen. She is also known for baking treats on her days off to bring back for the staff to enjoy! Outside of camp, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hammocking, biking, and hiking. She is so thankful to be able to serve alongside fellow believers at such a beautiful place that has played an important part in her spiritual growth and has been such a meaningful part of her life.
