SUSQUE FAMILY CAMP IS NEARLY FULL and currently has only RV or space for you to tent camp with your own tent.
CLASSIC FAMILY CAMP has a platform tent or two available and RV or space for you to tent camp with your own tent.
Family camps are popping up all over the nation. They provide a unique way for families to spend time and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and beautiful surroundings that a camp setting provides.
Susque offers two Family Camp options: Susque Family Camp (formerly Homeschool Family Camp) and Classic Family Camp. Both occur for one week in August and include programming and activities for all ages. Many of our Family Campers return year after year, enjoying the traditions they establish as well as the camaraderie of the other Family Campers. Daily Chapels provide time for your family to grow together in Christ and be refreshed as you enjoy a break from your daily life.
Lodging options range from bringing your own tent to our cabins or cozy lodges. You can cook your own food or purchase delicious, family-friendly meals from the dining hall using one of our Meal Plans.
Family Camper Testimonials
"Hearing God's Word spoken all day, either in Chapel or in random conversations, experiencing loads of fun, deep fellowship, and the amazing beauty of mountains, green grass, trees, and water are all irreplaceable to our family who flies in each summer to attend Camp Susque Family Camp!"
"We love Family Camp at Camp Susque! It's one of the few places left where we can let our children run and play freely, and know they are surrounded by godly, caring friends and family. It strengthens our family bonds and refreshes us with the beauty of creation. For some of us, it brings back old memories and good laughs. And there's nothing better at the end of the day than stories, songs and snacks around a campfire!"
"I have been a part of Family Camp for 42 years & continue going with my own family, so that they can enjoy nature, as well as enjoy Christian fellowship with others around the campfires. We love the singing time underneath the pavilion. It sounds so beautiful & gives us an idea of what heaven will be like some day with the singing there."
