Using Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Botany, 2nd Edition as a foundation, Margaret and her co-teachers will take a small step into the fascinating world of birds, insects, and mammals, and even the wind, to explore the role of pollination in God’s creation. Our interactive 3-week Pollination Class will be hands on and involve a visit during the last class from Susque’s “Mr. Beekeeper”, Aaron Kolb. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about the intricate workings of a hive, the roles of worker bees, drones and the queen bee, as well as the magical process of honey making. Parents with littles are welcome to enjoy Susque’s premises (sandpit, playground and field) during the class time for their older ones. Hope to see you here!
