Les serves as Camp Chaplain and Ministry Partnership Coordinator. This position encompasses the ongoing spiritual care of the staff and beyond as well as building partnerships with churches and other ministries. Les was born and raised in Canada but has been a part of the Susque Family for more than 50 years, having experienced virtually every aspect of camp life, from camper to counsellor to summer chaplain and board member. Before coming on staff he served for 37 years as pastor of a number of churches in both Canada and the US. Les is married to Laurie and together they have 4 kids and 4 grandkids.
When not fulfilling his duties at camp Les loves to read, watch movies, follow his Habs and best of all, hang out with his awesome grandchildren, Jude, Guy, Selah, and Lawrence.
Les has a burning desire our camp theme verse, Rev 4:11, lived out in every aspect of life; “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being”.
