  5. Lindsey Swift

Lindsey was born and raised in northwestern Pennsylvania and attended Grove City College, where she became good friends with someone who spent her summers working at Camp Susque. That friendship introduced Lindsey to many other Susque staffers, and while they were unsuccessful in recruiting her as a counselor, it did lead to her meeting and eventually marrying Peter, Susque’s now-director. They have three children who love living in the midst of camp life and are already looking forward to the day they can officially join the summer staff.

Before becoming Susque’s Financial Administrator in June 2026, Lindsey spent 20 years in banking, primarily as an Administrative Assistant. As a lover of planning, organizing, and making things balance the way they are supposed to, she finds perhaps an unreasonable amount of satisfaction in a successful monthly bank reconciliation.

When she isn’t working or driving her kids around, Lindsey can most often be found with a book in hand or cooking for family and friends. She loves traveling with her family, especially to National Parks, and is always up for a good hike, provided she makes it back to sleep in a bed. After more than a decade of calling Susque home and being part of the camp community as a spouse and camper parent, Lindsey is excited to officially join the year-round team.
