For Jr. & Sr. High Youth Groups

The Youth Summit program serves established youth group students and their friends by providing a time away from the daily routines of school, sports, and other activities and immersing them in the midst of God’s beautiful Creation at Camp Susque. Your students will have opportunities to learn, worship, and fellowship within their own youth group as well as with students from other churches. Students will sleep in our year-round lodges, eat in our Dining Hall, and participate in many activities found in our traditional Summer and Winter Camp Programs.

Primary care of students will be the responsibility of youth leaders and chaperones from your church. Camp Susque staff will lead activities, chapel, and provide meals.

Camp Susque chaplains have been considered one of Susque’s greatest strengths for many generations for teaching Biblically sound messages to challenge and inspire campers to seek after Christ and pursue Godly lifestyles. Our chaplains come from a variety of denominations but are unified in their understanding of the Gospel and are in alignment with Susque’s beliefs and statement of faith. Chaplains are invited by the Executive Director based off of personal interactions and recommendations from trusted sources. Like all staff on camp, background checks are collected for chaplains and they receive an orientation on our various systems and processes regarding camper and staff safety.

This weekend will give students and youth leaders the opportunity to “make their own adventure.” Throughout the day there will be times for students to choose from a variety of traditional camp activities such as field games, going on a hike, volleyball, climbing wall, or sitting by the fireplace with friends. All activities will be supervised by a Camp Susque staff member or designated youth leader.

Mark your calendar today for one of the best days of the year at Camp Susque! Our 2020 Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Camp Susque.  We will kick off the day with our 5/10K Trail Race and Fun Run and the rest of the day will be filled with fun, food, and activities for the whole family.

This is a great day to invite your friends to familiarize them with all that Camp Susque has to offer, as well as a great time to connect with friends and family. Nearly 2000 people joined us for our 2019 Harvest Festival, and we're expecting even more this year!

NOTE regarding COVID-19:  We will be making every effort to provide a safe environment for your family and friends at the Harvest Festival.  This will include spreading out our vendors, making changes to our food service and eliminating congested areas in the Kids Zone.  We feel confident that we can provide as much or more fun and still maintain a safe environment for the 2020 Harvest Festival!  Additionally, we will be closely monitoring related regulations and risks and making any necessary adjustments.  Please know that we cannot eliminate all possibilities and make responsible personal decisions for yourself and your family.

The Harvest Festival is FREE to the public, and festivities start at 9:00am on Saturday, September 19.
