Work Weekend FAQ

Can I bring children?

Yes you can. Parents are responsible to supervise their children 12 and under. Children older than 12 can be given separate jobs.

What if I don't have a special skill?

That's okay! This is an open invitation, which means we encourage folks who know how to handle a chainsaw as well as those who have a desire to work wherever. We can use you for tasks such as cleaning, painting, weeding, etc.

What if there is bad weather?

Work Weekend is held rain or shine.

What if I have to cancel my registration?

Please call the office at (570) 998-2151.

Camp Susque depends heavily on the continued support of amazing volunteers just like you! Some volunteers come regularly, while others join us for only a day. Regardless of the length of time, we are grateful for the amazing and continued work that is accomplished by the many who are a vital part of the Susque community.

Two Work Fellowship Weekends occur throughout the year, one in the spring and one in the fall. These weekends are always full of hearty food, fun, hard work, and warm fellowship in the great outdoors.

This is for articles that we don't want linked on the front end. I had to create this category because when someone clicks on the "Donate & Volunteer" Main Menu item from the top nav, it loads a Category List, which shows all articles in a particular category. By subdividing out articles such as "Thank You for your Donation" into another category, I was able to leave that Category List alone.

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." Revelation 4:11
